A video link with Lambert van Nistelrooij, a Dutch member of the European Parliament was just one of the highlights of Mini Europe’s first stakeholders’ conference held at the Provincie House of Flevoland in Lelystad on 9th of March.
Mr. van Nistlerooij addressed the conference and told delegates - “Today we may have set out a ‘golden line for the future.”
In his speech, he also made a plea for clustering on a regional scale. “Let’s have some clusters, but let’s also oblige these clusters to share their knowledge with other regions in Europe”.
He concluded by advising the conference “Especially now it is necessary to keep Europe balanced, and your project might be the new formula for cohesion in Europe.”
