On 27 September 2010 the Mini Europe project representatives of European regions come back to Hungary to the second Thematic Conference of the project. The second project event in Debrecen offers an excellent opportunity to recognize the best practices and to review the work done.

On July 29th 2010 an exchange visit was held in Veneto in order to deepen the “Cluster Programme”, the good practice selected by the Maramures Region and exported by Veneto Innovazione and the Veneto Region.
A visit exchange of Patras Science Park staff with the local stakeholders of the good practice i-Creo was held on the 22nd and 23rd July 2010 in IMPIVA, Valencia. The Tameside Enterprise Strategy sets out the rationale for the creation of the Tameside Business Family, a network of SMEs in the area which work to offer support to other SMEs to assist them to grow. The Business Family also works with individuals thinking of starting a business and acts as a mentor and a coach. The Business Family concept has had a significant impact on the numbers of people starting a business in the area, which has historically suffered from low levels of business creation.
