MINI EUROPE First Thematic Conference
On 10 June 2009 the Mini Europe project was presented in the ECOS seminar on women entrepreneurship in Lidingö, Sweden. There were interesting presentations on how to promote and develop women entrepreneurship. More information you can find on www.lidingo.se/ecos.
Creation of micro enterprise – mini companies- for practice and development of entrepreneurial attitudes and skills during the summer vacation. Young people creating their own “summer jobs”.
The identification of the high level skill needs of employers (NVQ level 4 equivalent or above) and provision of tailored training programmes to meet those needs.
There is a significant ‘enterprise gap’ in the district of Tameside. The Business Family was created to close this gap and significantly increase the numbers of businesses created in Tameside by local people.
